Part of the restaurant and entertainment company, Lo & Behold Group, Extra Virgin Pizza is a modern craft Pizzeria, serving up Neapolitan thin crust pizzas to busy folks in the central business district. With a selection of traditional Italian classics mixed with modern fusion creations, the brief was to showcase hero items from their menu as well as a group shot. The photo series was used for print and digital marketing collaterals as well social media platforms.

To create a lifestyle/casual composition, we hand painted a wood board with a cool blue to create a unique and iconic surface, creating natural contrast and allowing the colours of the food to stand out.

Lunar New Year Corporate Gifting

RECIPE DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION ๏ฝœPACKAGING DESIGN ๏ฝœ COPYWRITING ๏ฝœ

RECIPE DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION ๏ฝœPACKAGING DESIGN ๏ฝœ COPYWRITING

Director & Photographer: C.R Tan

Recipe Development: Ryan Foo

Copywriter: Claire Chin

Designer: Dan Chia

To usher in the year of the golden pig in true Chun Tsubaki fashion, no effort was spared to spread festive cheer and good tidings to our friends and corporate clients. Truth be told, it was a very rushed job but the team worked efficiently to produce their respective collaterals.

The first aspect of our Lunar New Year gifting involved โ€˜Red Packetsโ€™. Red is the traditional colour of the festive season for it signifies warmth, good fortune and prosperity in the spring festival. However, we wanted to refine and redefine these red packets, to allow our design to stand out among the commonplace red packets while retaining oriental elements. Hence, the decision was made to have it in our corporate Navy. blue, with elements of camellias and cherry blossoms, emblems of spring as well as our branding of โ€˜Tsubakiโ€™.

The second element of our corporate gifting was our Miso Caramel Tarts with Pork Floss. Cookies and sweets are often given to friends and relatives, to wish them glad tidings and sweet success. Inspired by Pineapple Tarts, we decided to switch things up with a miso caramel filing encased in a buttery melt-in-your-mouth crust, and finally garnished with pork floss for decadence.

Hereโ€™s wishing everyone a joyous and prosperous Lunar New Year, with blessings of abundance and success!

One Farrer Hotel is one of the leading luxury hotels in Singapore offering 5-star urban resort accommodation, and one of our regular clients. To welcome Chinese New Year, we were commissioned to shoot their Yu Sheng dish along with some of their side dishes. To create the festive Lunar New Year vibes, we used the auspicious red colour in elements of textured props such as hand-cut paper, angbao, linen, teacups etc.

For the Christmas theme-related project, we went for a casual/lifestyle aesthetic by creating a feasting tabletop setting with hands-in-frame. To create a contemporary feel, a coblat blue board was used as a table surface, giving instant contrast from the warm tones of the dishes.

By using monotone tableware, it served to accentuate the vibrant colours and textures of their dishes. As for their cocktail selection, theyโ€™re served in curated glassware that highlights the character of each drink. Finally, by incorporating their hand-carved interior design as the backdrop, it pulled together the entire African theme, enhancing the branding and character of Kafe UTU.

Located in Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, Origin Grill & Bar is inspired by the origin of flavours, travel adventures and Singaporeโ€™s illustrious history of bountiful trade, colonial charm and tropical splendour.

A partnership craft beer bar opened by our Director simply meant that both the interior design and food photography should be close to perfection, specifically minimalistic perfection. Needless to say, the minimalist theme extended to the photography and styling. By using grey concrete tones and dark serveware as the backdrop, it allowed the natural colour of the food and drinks to shine, making them even more eye-catching and visually appealing.
